SPACE MISSION: THEME: OUTREACH, WITNESSING SYNOPSIS: Filmed in front of a Star Trek or Space ship backdrop and shown on big screen. This is an introduction to an Outreach emphasis based on "Star Trek" with three of our staff members launched off to discover new lands and boldly go where no man has gone before...but how can you be a "beacon" or a light in the dark if there are NO people to shine before? The "crew" decides to go back home where there is plenty of darkness nearby to cast their beams on. The Enterprise "Crew" appears on the stage after an auditorium blackout. Pastor "Captain Rick" makes a comment leading into the message or further emphasis suggesting some of the areas in your own neighborhood about outreach...In our church we have a nursing home next door, a trailer park down the highway, a community to the West that is "untapped" and even people within our own church family who are still in the dark Title: Evangelism |
