CHRISTMAS RECORDINGS

During December our church had an emphasis on Prayer so we incorporated a series of dramas and made them Christmas themed as well as emphasizing the theme of the message for that day. During our annual Christmas Eve service which is geared toward the family we presented these two dramas with a third one (which we had purchased) into one continuous story using the Grandfather's invention to join the three together. The third drama, "Pout on a Limb" by Stan Durham can be purchased from Creative Resource Group, Franklin, TN.) The first two, "A Signal from God" and "Unanswered Prayers" can be used independently or together.

A SIGNAL FROM GOD

THEME: Hearing God); Priorities; Christmas

SYNOPSIS: Grandpa in all his busy-ness builds a contraption so he can tune in to God. With all the activity surrounding the holidays, it takes a small child to help us remember it takes being still and quiet to hear Jesus.

UNANSWERED PRAYERS

THEME: Hearing God; Family; Marriage; Christmas

SYNOPSIS: Have you ever wondered what would have happened if God had answered your prayer the way you wanted Him to at the time? Through the music of Garth Brooks' "Thank God for Unanswered Prayer" a man realizes when God once told him ‘NO'it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him.
